After discussions with Saint Joseph County health officials and information from the Indiana State Department of Health, the AIC Board of Directors has decided to transition the 2020 AIC Annual Conference to a virtual format.  While we were excited to experience Saint Joseph County's South Bend Century Center, we felt that due to an abundance of concern for safety and to avoid any risk of infection related to the COVID-19 virus, moving to a virtual environment would keep our members' health and safety first.  Not knowing what the pandemic situation will be in mid-September and an expected 700 people in attendance, we could not guarantee an environment that would meet social distancing protocols.

We are still committed to providing many elements of our traditional in-person event in our virtual conference, including 10 educational workshops, our annual awards banquet, an interview with Governor Holcomb, and networking with our sponsors. Each county wanting to attend the virtual conference only needs to submit one flat payment for the entire county based on their county population and number of county employees.  For this year only, the county fee may be paid out of an appropriate fund designated for training including but not limited to the County Official Training Fund.  Also, all vendors must be Associate Members to participate.
